Morning Musume on Music Station!
This is Morning Musume's first performance on Music Station with the new Morning Musume members. They performed "Happy Summer Wedding", and their current single "Wagamama Ki no Mama Ai no Joke".
The girls sounded great, except for Riho who is currently recovering from a cold. Overall, a pretty good performance despite lacking in some places. I'm a very proud fan!

Jin says his encounter with Meisa was due to fate (Japan's power couple AKAKURO strikes back!)
One of those is the confirmation that his marriage with Meisa Kuroki was not a shot gun marriage and that he proposed to her even before they found out that she’s pregnant. He also mentioned that meeting her was a work of fate. The reports also say that he created a song for their baby girl, Theia.
On another note, he added: "My fans are really something. A lot of things have happened, and who knows what will happen in the future... No matter what I will definitely come back. Rest assured, please continue to be a fan of mine with confidence".
A bunch of fans who attended the event said that this is a Jin who is comfortable in his own skin, happy, content, proud of his work, and very happy.

Gatchaman live action movie score given by critic Yuichi Maeda: 4/100 wwwwww
Summary of Yuichi Maeda's review
* Praised the '70s anime for the cool characters, stylish highlight scenes, and passionate theme song. He also commended the anime for tackling social issues despite being a children's anime.
* Live action adaptation does not reflect the essence of Gatchaman and felt like a declaration of war towards the original version.
* Gatchaman has a radical ideology, where they would even neglect the lives of 10 million people for the sake of saving a single person.
* 40% of the movie consisted of the hero's childish logics, while the remaining 60% revolved around Gouriki's character JUN's illicit love towards Matsuzaka's character KEN.
* JUN felt like this character who only thinks about how she could score with KEN.
* The movie feels like it's for the audience to enjoy Gouriki's one-man love comedy skits.
* JUN has a terrible character, speaking ill of KEN's late girlfriend and dissing the nice and cool suits that they get to wear.
* Your children who will go watch the movie with you might ask you, "Why are those people just talking about women and aren't even setting out to war?"
* The biggest complaint here is why don't they just trash the internal discord within the group, and go hurry up and save the world.
* The scriptwriting is a mess. There's no end to the criticisms that can be made. The viewers will be left with nothing but questions, and despite all of this, the movie hinted that there will be a sequel.

Japanese movies like this essentially stop once they announce that it will be undergoing production and once they are provided with budget.

This is probably what you get if you let a commoner do the adaptation.
Oh, it's Gouriki-san who makes sure to butcher every original story adaptation she does.

Aiuchi Rina changes her name to Kakiuchi Rika + to produce dog goods
Aiuchi Rina, who retired from the entertainment industry in 2010, has changed her name to Kakiuchi Rika.
Around the time of her retirement, Kakiuchi got her two poodles Pine and Ribbon. When they became ill, she obtained qualifications to become a dog reflexologist, animal protection supervisor, and dog yoga trainer. She studied reflexology, healing techniques, food, and ethology. Then in October of 2012, she started her career as a pet brand producer by establishing the dog brand 'Bon Bon Copine'.
Bon Bon Copine will carry additive-free dog food that include no preservatives, food coloring, or flavoring. It will also carry products like handmade cushions, cafe mats, collars, and leashes. The products will be displayed at the 'Pet Expo 2013' in Osaka from September 21 to the 23rd. There will also be a collaboration with Sanrio to celebrate its 40th anniversary.

Jin is happy to have more fanboys!
As reports pouring in on twitter of Jin's fan events in Osaka and Tokyo on 8/22 and 8/23, many have cited the increasing numbers of fanboys seen in line and in the audience. Fans have said the number of fanboys are about 10% of attendees. Even Jin was surprised at the increasing number of fanboys. He also said he was also surprised at his single Hey What's Up sold 115,000 copies in the first week and even the Jimusho was surprised too. For those who doesn't know what Team Stages is;
Each show is performed by one of the three teams or by Team Kenkyuusei, a selection of kenkyuusei members. They perform a setlist that remains the same for several months before moving on to a new setlist. T
The opening date of a stage is called shonichi, and the closing date is called senshuuraku.
All stages start out with the overture, a track that plays at several of AKB's performances that basically serves to get the crowd pumped up. In stages A6, K6, and B5, the performances also started out with a song by Zenza Girls, a group of one to four featured kenkyuusei members.
After the overture, the full team comes out on stage and perform three or four full-group songs. Then is the first MC, when each member introduces herself and chats a bit.
After the MC are the unit songs, in which the teams are further broken down into smaller segments of one to six members. The unit songs usually showcase whatever member is the "center" of that unit, who is one of the more popular members of the team. There are usually five unit songs, then the team reconvenes for another MC and more group songs.
There is always an encore at the end of the stage, with more group songs, peformances of recent singles, and announcements. If it is a member's birthday performance, they will bring her a cake, sing for her, and have a letter read to them by another teammate. Then the team takes the final bow together.
Stage songs are said to be the secret weapon of the 48 family in the music industry as each songs has different genres like ballad, rock, pop, punk etc and it is being performed by full team or an individual members giving chances to non popular members to be exposed to fans.

Team 4 Gets Reformed Headed by Minegishi Minami
At the 3rd day of AKB48 Tokyo Dome Concert; another surprised announcement has been made and it is the revival of Team 4. Minegishi Minami who was been demoted last January of this year because of an alleged scandal was now promoted to be the captain of Team 4 which is composed of 13 gen and 14 gen of KKS. They also abolished the Under system so that members from any team can act as stand-in for any team’s Stage.

Morning Musume 12th Gen Auditions Finished, No Winners Announced
Tsunku declares today that there are no qualified candidates for the 12th gen audition “Mirai Shoujo”. Based on the theme and name “Mirai Shoujo” (girl of the future) Tsunku was looking for a super star to add to the group. However, the performance level of Morning Musume is so high right now that he does not feel it would be appropriate to add anyone into the group at this time. Tsunku also will not be adding anyone from H!P kenshuusei at this time. He does not feel comfortable inserting a new girl into this current lineup. However, that does not mean that the talent and skill level of this group of girls were low. To the contrary, Tsunku feels that he saw many girls who were able to shine throughout the audition. He believes they have plenty of talent, but it just quite isn’t enough to join the group.
He adds that had these girls auditioned at the same time as the 9th gen audition, he would have let them in the group. He feels there are a lot of girls with potential. He does not mean any disrespect toward 9th gen with this statement. He states that since 9th gen joined, they have improved to the point where the current Morning Musume is at the highest level of skill in all of MM history.
Tsunku believes that the potential candidates from this past audition are like raw diamond ores. He is very excited to see what will come of proper refinement. As such, he has invited all of the girls he saw potential in to join H!P kenshuusei to gain more experience. He hopes to unveil them when the proper timing comes along.
In regards to 12th gen audition, he plans to hold another audition again. Essentially re-do 12th gen audition, it will not be considered 13th gen. He also states that he has a lot of things on his mind for the future of H!P – including a new group which could potentially be filled with the girls from this audition. Tsunku has a very positive outlook on everything and hopes you guys will look forward to whats coming next.

Charges on GACKT's alleged rape case dropped as he is deemed innocent
GACKT was found innocent after the police have finished their investigations following allegations made by a woman in her 20s of rape and indecent assault .
The Metropolitan Police Department submitted documents to the the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office stating that GACKT is "not guilty", and will not be prosecuted on this event.
According to police reports, the woman claimed that GACKT got her drunk in September of 2011, forced her to get in a car and committed obscene acts on her. GACKT then took her to his house and made violent advances towards her.
Aside from gathering the testimonies of both parties, police investigators went to the restaurant the two visited. While finding out that GACKT and the woman indeed had dinner, and headed to his house afterwards, they concluded that there was no "objective evidence" that GACKT did commit such acts in the car and in his house.
The woman only decided to officially press charges on GACKT in April this year. Upon investigation, the police sent a report to the Prosecutor's Office in late June of this year, indicating that GACKT is not guilty.
This case was made public in May of this year after a weekly tabloid published an article based on the allegations made by the woman. GACKT answered to this, claiming that he did invite the woman to his house, but did not commit any kind of violence on her.
GACKT's agency responded to inquiries made by Sankei Newspaper and comments: "He was bothered by this, but he now feels relieved. His lawyers will be taking over the rest, and GACKT will not be commenting any further on the matter".

Details surface about the man Keiko Fuji was living with
Journalists gathered at Meguro-ku's Himonya mortuary where Keiko Fuji's body rests two days after the singer committed suicide [sic]by jumping off a high-rise apartment in Nishi Shinjuku on the 24th.
Around 50 members of the press were at the venue, but Hikaru Utada still had not shown herself yet. She is thought to be currently in New York, USA.
At 2 pm, a staff member of Himonya explains: "There was no development today. Her family? No one from her family came today". The gates of the funeral hall closed at 5 in the afternoon as the place went silent. Fuji's body is currently being preserved frozen as they wait for Hikaru's return to Japan. The body will be cremated afterwards.
Details surfaced this day concerning her acquaintance, a man in his 30s whom she had been living with in the said apartment for the past 6 years.
A woman in her 70s who resides nearby says: "They were not romantically involved. She was already old enough to be his mother after all. He was looking after Fuji-san in the unit".
Fuji trusted the man, who was also her former manager, as if he was part of her family. There are also reports that her ex-husband Teruzane Utada was the one who asked this man to take care of Fuji. The man himself was shocked, and testified to the police that: "We're not romantically involved. We stayed in separate bedrooms".
Fans flocked to the side of the rail guard underneath Fuji's apartment to offer flowers, beer, and Japanese wine as a makeshift altar was made. According to nearby residents, fans came to visit as early as the 22nd when news of her death broke out. A man in his 30s who came all the way from Niigata prefecture on this day to pay his respects said, "Both my parents were huge fans of hers. I was unable to contain myself so I came here".

Perfume disclosed details regarding their first studio length album in around two and a half years, LEVEL3 which will be released on October 2.
For this album the singles released after Perfume’s transfer to Universal Music Japan, Spring of Life, Spending all my time, Magic of Love will be album mixes, and the theme song for the feature film Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Himitsu Museum, Mirai no Museum, alongside the coupling tracks Point, Daijobanai and Handy Man and of course new tracks will combine for a total of 14 recorded songs. Other tracks such as Eisai’s Chocola BB Sparkling CM song, Party Maker, and LEVEL3’s lead track, 1mm make up some of the new songs to be included in the album.
For the limited edition case, it has been specified that it will be available in three versions: a clear, fluorescent pink, and fluorescent yellow pattern. The video clip for 1mm, and bonus footage ‘“Zutto suki dattan jakee~Sasurai no Menkata Perfume FES!!” Memorial♡’ (‘I’ve always liked you~Wandering Thick Soup Perfume FES!! Memorial♡’) and ‘Perfume no Tadatada Radio ga suki dakara Radio!’’ (‘Because we like nothing but Perfume’s Radio Radio!’) will also be included on a DVD for the limited edition of LEVEL3.
On the limited edition jacket photograph, Perfume’s costumes are adorned with colourful geometric designs that feature shoulders and skirts made with accordion folds that spread out like paper cranes. The blue circle in the center has been designed to have an impact. For the regular edition of LEVEL3, Perfume posed in front of transparent acrylic walls wearing white costumes. To express a new side to Perfume, A~chan is seen sporting a French braid, and Kashiyuka a side-swept hair style, while Nocchi opted for a look depicting a casual ennui.
What’s more, on August 26 from 23:05 JST, Perfume LOCKS!, part of Tokyo FM’s SCHOOL OF LOCK! will unveil a brand new song from LEVEL3. Fans are encouraged to not miss this event.

JKT48 Member Melody’s Inauguration as Okayama’s Fruit Ambassador
Today, August 26th, Okayama prefecture appointed JKT48 (sister group of AKB48 which based in Jakarta, Indonesia) member Melody Nurramdhani Laksani (21) as “Okayama Fruit Taishi (Okayama Fruit Ambassador)” to market their specialty fruit to overseas.
The inauguration ceremony was held at the prefectural office. Agriculture manager, Mr. Kazuo Sato handed her the letter of appointment and Tasuki (Sash). “I have an interest in Japanese advanced agriculture before and I want to introduce the good points of Okayama’s fruits to Indonesia,” said Melody.
Okayama prefecture, in an effort to increase their presence in Indonesia, asked Melody to take her new role as an ambassador whom also studies agriculture technology at local (Indonesia) university. From 26th to 28th (3 days), she will experiences the harvesting of peach and grapes at an undisclosed farmhouse in Okayama. While in September, she will become the spokesperson for Okayama’s fruits in Jakarta.

Live action Lupin III, who should play Fujiko Mine!?
(Partial Translation)
The production for the live action adaptation of Lupin III is at a standstill as they could not decide who to cast as Fujiko Mine.
Shun Oguri has been decided to play the role of Lupin, and Erika Sawajiri was originally touted to play Fujiko, but she turned down the role. Their next option was Riisa Naka, who had experience in sexy roles, but they had to go back to the drawing board because of her shotgun marriage with Akiyoshi Nakao. The producers are currently in the hunt for a popular actress who can also play mature roles, but they seem to be having trouble. Norika Fujiwara, Kyoko Fukada, and Masami Nagasawa's names have also been brought up, but they are yet to come up with a final decision.

Face-wise, Meisa Kuroki would be great, but her body is lacking. Even if you put pads on her chest and butt areas, she still lacks the height.
