According to a report in "Seven Women" magazine, Ayumi Hamasaki is in a relationship with a younger, white male.
The two reportedly met each other in Los Angeles where the man was a coordinator. After a long period of friendship, the two began dating during this past spring.
Photos of the supposed couple holding hands were published by "Seven Women".
According to a TV broadcast the same day as the magazine's report, Hamasaki and her new boyfriend went on a romantic getaway to a luxurious hotel in Bali. The resort cost ¥700,000 a night ($7,000 USD).
"I quickly discovered that he was a special person to Ayu. They were snuggling and seem concerned about the public eye," a witness to the vacation stated in regards to the man Hamasaki was with.
"They are together and are settling down," someone close to the singer stated.
Ayumi Hamasaki has had a tumultuous love life for the past few years. On January 1, 2011, the singer announced that she was getting married to Manuel Schwarz, an Austrian actor she met in August of 2010 while filming her music video "Virgin Road". The two filed for divorce a year later on January 16, 2012.
