The newest addition may be a dream for fans but a nightmare for the current members of Momoiro Clover Z.
Keiko Kitagawa, best known for her roles in Roommate, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, and Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, is setting her sights at being a J-pop Idol. Kitagawa will be joining Momoiro Clover Z for a limited engagement in order to promote Akumu-chan: The Movie [悪夢ちゃん Ｔｈｅ 夢ｏｖｉｅ].
Kitagawa will be reprising her role as Ayami, a beloved and talented teacher who can not empathize with others, first seen in the 2012 drama Akumu-chan. The special, hitting airwaves May 3rd, will see the girls of Momoiro Clover Z handle Ayami and the dark aura that surrounds her as the newest member “Kimo Clo.”
Details regarding the plot will hopefully be forthcoming in the weeks to come.
