Japanese rock band fade will be releasing their major debut album under UNIVERSAL MUSIC's Thunderball667 label on 26 Feb 2014. The album, "Crossroad~History of fade" is a mix of old and new, with a track list containing previously released songs and three new tracks. The band held a poll for fans to vote what tracks they wanted to see on the new album.
The deluxe edition contains bonus cover track 'Livin' on a Prayer' and a DVD containing the PVs for leading track 'Cross Road' as well as the Making Of. fade worked with Tooru Yoshida and Silent Hill soundtrack composer Akira Yamaoka on the album, and mixing was done in LA with Jay Baumgardner.
A digital 'Cross Road' EP will also be released on the same day via iTunes etc. and it contains three tracks.
Come March, the band will kick off their album release tour, playing in Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo.

I'm excited about the track Akira Yamaoka produced, "One Shot Dealer", but I wish there were more new tracks on the album. It's been a long 12 years for the band and they're finally making their (long overdue IMO) major debut!
