Massive 48 family news

On January 11, SKE48 held their first handshake event of the year at Port Messe Nagoya. During this event, they made an announcement that their 14th single (currently untitled) will be released on March 19.

Before the handshake event, the group held their customary mini live. Before exiting the stage, Matsui Jurina called out, "Wait a minute!" She then announced, "We will release our new single on March 19. Although nothing has been decided yet."

Jurina continued with a smile, "I am really happy to let everyone know about the release of our 14th single. On top of that, we were able to make the announcement during the first handshake event of the year so it's like an 'otoshidama' (New Year's present) from SKE48 to our fans. I'm glad that you were all pleased with it."

Finally, she added, "We don't know the details yet, but it will be our first single after our Nagoya Dome concerts (February 1 & 2nd), so we want to challenge a song that will allow you to look at us in a different way and feel new possibilities from us."

The single will be released in Limited Editions A-D, Regular Editions A-D, and Theater Edition.

Koyanagi confessed, "Since my first year of high school, I started to have a desire for clothing and accessories related work. Now that I'm my third year, I had to decide on what course I should take and started thinking about what I should do. I thought about it a lot, but my desire for working with clothing and accessories was number one."

Koyanagi considered continuing her activities with NMB48 while attending a vocational school, but she thought that "both would be done halfway." Thus she decided to graduate from the group.

According to NMB48's official homepage, Koyanagi's graduation date and her future activities will be announced once it's been decided.
