They last topped the ranking in 2010 but lost to AKB48 in 2011 and 2012. This year, even though they lose in term of CD sales, their DVD sales is apparently the highest with 9.13 billion yen while AKB48 gained only 5 billion yen of DVD+BluRay sales. Arashi continues to top the DVD ranking with almost 8 million copies sold to date, above Morning Musume with only 2.8 million copies of DVDs.
